Cutting Edge
came about in response to the need for traditional carpentry and joinery.

A business man from America once looked over the shoulder of a Devon blacksmith hammering away at an anvil and said "Gee that is great, in the States we have machines that work to one ten thousandth of an inch, machining identical parts and here you are beating out handmade work". The blacksmith looked him in the eye and said "one ten thousandth of an inch you say, well that aren't no good we got to be spot on here"!

Joking apart that is the flavour of cutting edge. We have accurate machinery but the work is individual and it feels like it.

We have a small workshop based in a village on the south side of Dartmoor in Devon. It was in response to the needs of the discerning client's requirements that we found a place for proper carpentry. Over nearly a decade we have shared this passion with home owners, couples developing properties and a children's home, in fact any one appreciating good quality workmanship.
